Furniture bureau / services

What makes up the cost of buying furniture

We compare the full cost of the agreed purchase. The estimate shows what you pay the manufacturer, the bureau and the parties involved in delivery.

Three parts of the estimate

  1. 01

    Furniture to the agreed specification

Model, dimensions, finish, quantity and configuration. We clarify the currency, offer validity, production terms and handover point.

  2. 02

    The bureau’s fee

We separately record payment for agreed activities: sourcing, comparing offers, negotiations and purchase support. The fee and stage deliverable are defined before paid work begins.

  3. 03

    Delivery and agreed work

Packaging, transportation, insurance, documentation and applicable mandatory payments; where needed, storage, inspection, carrying furniture upstairs and assembly. We separately agree whether each item is included and who is responsible for it.

How we agree our fee

The scope of sourcing and support depends on the number of pieces, how complete the brief is and the chosen stages. Our proposal states the fee or agreed method of calculating it, the deliverable and payment procedure.

Sending an enquiry is free and does not conclude a paid contract. Paid work starts once individual terms have been accepted. Substitutions, additional services and budget overruns require your agreement.

What to compare in two offers

Check that configurations match, along with the currency and estimate date, delivery scope, packaging and excluded expenses. A lower item price does not necessarily mean a lower total purchase cost.

What determines the timeframe

Sourcing and agreement, manufacture, preparation for dispatch, transportation and delivery to the property are separate stages. We agree a schedule after the manufacturer responds and the route is checked. We do not promise a universal lead time for all furniture in advance.

What we need for a preliminary estimate

A list of pieces or model links, quantities, dimensions and finishes, delivery city, preferred period and a comfortable budget for the entire delivery. If you already have a manufacturer’s offer, send it together with the dispatch terms.

What an agreed estimate looks like

Item and configuration → payment recipient → amount and currency → what is included → what needs clarification → validity period. We supplement the estimate with a specification and individual order terms.
